Postdoctoral position in computational biology in Lille, France

Description
The research project is funded by a Nord-Pas-de-Calais region grant, and it gathers computer scientists from the BONSAI team (INRIA Lille, CNRS, Université Lille 1-3), and biologists from the GEPV (CNRS, Université Lille 1).
The successful candidate will work on the development of new discrete and probabilistic models and methods for the integration of some characteristics detected at genomic rearrangement breakpoints, in the inference of ancestral genome structures, and genome structure evolution scenarios.
Application
The ideal candidate should hold either a PhD in Computer Science, or Mathematics, or Probability and Statistics, with a strong taste for applications in Bioinformatics, or a PhD in Computational Biology, or Bioinformatics, or other related domains.
