Currently I am Ph.D. student in CSAM group of IEMN lab and Inria FUN project-team. I started my thesis in October 2013 after my internship in the same labs. The topic of the thesis is “Interference and adaptability for complete autonomy of WSN nodes”. My thesis supervisors are Laurent Clavier (IEMN) and Nathalie Mitton (Inria).
Wireless Sensor Networks use RF communication technologies to transmit collected information. The parameters of the radio channel are not static. The variation of these parameters can cause packet loss and retransmissions of corrupted packets. This fact can impact the QoS and the energy consumption (each retransmission wastes energy). This is a reason why developing algorithms providing adaptability to the changes of the radio channel is very important.
