Abdoul Aziz MBACKE

I am a senegalese PhD student working under the joint supervision of Nathalie MITTON at FUN Team in Inria Lille Nord-Europe and Hervé Rivano at AGORA Team. This work is part of a CityLab@Inria project.

I received a Master's degree in Networking and Telecommunications from Université Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar in 2013 working on the subject of "Distributed anti-collision algorithm for RFID readers" under the direction of Nathalie MITTON and Ibrahim Amadou at FUN Team Inria.

PhD Topic

"Collecting Data in Energy Harvesting and Passive RFID-like Powered Sensor Networks"

The purpose of this PhD project is to investigate integrated and complete solution for urban infrastructures with the assumptions afore-mentionned (energy harvesting system, sensors coupled with passive RFID, etc) to collect information from the sensors on a server able to process data. This collecting mechanism will go through a multi-hop routing protocol that will have to comply several QoS requirements such as data latency with hardware constraints (storing capacity of readers, current energy levels) and traffic conditions.
